Dylan Simel, Multimedia, was born in New Bern, NC and raised Jewish. In his first year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he is planning on majoring in Business and Communication Studies. He is the multimedia man of the operation. A photographer and videographer, Dylan will be taking the footage for the trip and producing it into a film to help spread the word. He will also be responsible for updating the blog and website with up to date information, photos, and footage from the trip. Dylan has been playing soccer for most of his life and fell in love with the game. He plays constantly and watches it even more.
Sasha Seymore, Logistics from New Bern, North Carolina, Sasha was baptized at Garber Methodist Church in New Bern and continues to follow Christ. He is in his first year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently majoring in Applied Mathematics and Economics. Sasha began playing soccer at an early age and can’t ever seem to stop. He went to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and that experience just added for fuel on the flame. An avid lover of all sports, he currently plays club soccer and JV basketball at UNC. He is attending UNC on a Morehead-Cain scholarship.
Ahmad Saad, Outreach, Ahmad was born in Cairo Egypt, but has lived in the United States for most of his life, currently residing in Cary, NC. He is a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill, planning on majoring in political science and journalism, with a minor in having a good time. Ahmad is a member of the UNC chapter of the Muslim Student Association, and is a devout Sunni Muslim. He also shares Sasha and Dylan’s love for playing and watching soccer and he currently plays on the club soccer team at UNC
