A wonderful mini-documentary made about the Peres Center for Peace by A World of Football. This is how they described the film;

In a very sensitive political context, the Peres Center for Peace Football School encourages reconciliation between Palestinian and Israeli children from disadvantaged communities through a program of sport training, peace education and social activities. This program imparts the values of peace and understanding, encourages acceptance of cultural differences and breaks down stereotypes!

I couldn’t agree more. That is what we are going all out for. That is why we are doing this. Inspiring stuff.

Today I skyped with Tamar and Matan from the Peres Center for Peace, an organization based in Tel-Aviv, Israel. It was awesome talking to them and it made me even more excited about the project. They were really friendly and I support their organization and what they are doing in Israel with 100% of my heart.

The Peres Center for Peace is Israel’s leading non-profit organization promoting peacebuilding between Israel and its Arab neighbors, and in particular between Israelis and Palestinians. The Peres Center believes that working towards peace should not just be left to governments, but rather that Israeli and Palestinian civil society should be actively engaged in peacebuilding activities. Through bringing together Israelis and Palestinians and focusing on common Arab and Israeli social, economic, developmental, cultural and educational interests, the Peres Center enables real people-to-people relationships to be formed, paving the way to a real and lasting peace between peoples
